Life rides on the shoulders of the soul.
The burden of life gets heavier as years pass.
As health fails, added weight will take its toll.
The soul will struggle to last.
Life will lighten as death nears.
As illness advances, life slips away from its moors.
It is now time to ask why, and you may shed tears.
When life ends, the soul is set free for evermore.
